Dr Dai Ni Ong offers medical consultation and surgery for a range of general ophthalmology conditions. Her special interests include cataract surgery and macular degeneration management.
Dr Ong has undertaken rigorous training to a high standard. She graduated with honours from Monash University Medical School, Melbourne. She then worked at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne where she received “The Best Hospital Medical Officer Teacher Award”. After completing her ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne, she moved to the UK for further training in medical retina and uveitis conditions at the prestigious Moorfields Hospital, London. Other training included cataract surgery at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne; glaucoma and oculoplastics at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
She currently holds a consultant position at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and is a member of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
